In 2006, the dccc worked against four progressive candidates, arguing they couldn’t win the general. After they won the primary anyway, DCCC walked away. Three of them won, fourth won in ‘08.https://twitter.com/theintercept/status/967004619422433280 …

DCCC goes nuclear, charges Democratic candidate with self-dealing. But it has a record of its own to grapple with. https://interc.pt/2ok7IYO  by @lhfang @ryangrim @ddayen

The candidate is reaping financial gain from her campaign and made disparaging comments about how her home state sucks and that the cost of living in DC was fine. How is the DCCC in the wrong here?

Is the DCCC supposed to attack democratic primary candidates ? Honest question

Seems to me there are times it would be totally reasonable.

Agreed -- if a candidate were a racist or bigot, a criminal, or manifestly incompetent, it would make sense for the #DCCC to intervene before the primary. But none of those criteria apply here. #TX7

Similar dynamic with Yarmuth. DCCC assumed Yarmuth was too progressive to win in KY. Rahm apologized after Yarmuth won (via https://www.amazon.com/Thumpin-Democrats-Ruthless-Republican-Revolution/dp/B008SLBBR4 …). Now Rahm is back to claiming the only way to win these districts is with K Street "moderates."

Talk about a bootlickin’ book. It holds up just as well as Chait’s latest.

Read it it many years ago, was not a fan of the deference to Rahm's claims in it. Found the Rahm school's assertions revealing though. The documentary Housequake is good on this front too.

The idea that they are suddenly against people going to run in their hometown after working in DC is absurd to say the least.

Ok, but for a liberal Dem, I feel burned by Bernie, who I thought was more liberal than Hillary. They gave us Trump. Almost unforgivable.

No, Hillary gave us trump. Maybe her hubby shouldn’t have played golf with him & egged him on to run

You really don't make any sense. I liked Bernie, but he should have focused his followers to vote for Hillary; so yes, he did elect Trump..
