my father, 50 years ago, managed to find a daily excuse to slap my mother, who was and still is the nicest person in the planet. That Rob guy probably is a monster in disguise.... I forgot to mention: everybody, outside my home, that knew my father thought he was fantastic.

violence was done with doors close. I don't remember seeing people inside my own house for my first 15 years. I don't remember interacting with people at all for first 13 years (outside) and never had a conversation with "humans". He never excuse himself because nobody knew.
