It's simply not. ACA included a significant tax on every wealthy donor of the Democratic Party and it was passed by Dems. The opposite holds true in GOP today.

Name one thing in the ACA that helped an industry that didn't help the public? Lord the bill "help" to pharma was closing the donut hole for seniors. Can't rewrite history bc GOP tax bill is written for the Koch brothers.

This has to be the clearest example. It was included to get pharma support, which was probably needed, but i’m sure we all agree the policy itself is indefensible morally
