Activists fucking flood DC. They trek to field offices in ME & AK. Turd dies, unexpectedly, & everyone seems relieved.

So let's review: Take 1: activists rise up, turd dies Take 2: activists stay home, turd lives Takes 3, 4, & 5: activists rise up, turd dies.

So here we are, at Take 6, and there's one last turd. What's the move?

Based on how this entire fucking process has gone, it seems pretty clear the move is for the activists to rise up. But no, says @ryangrim.

Not only will this not kill the bill, but activists will ruin other bills (bills which GOP may be about to kill on their own, btw)

The only thing I can come up with that justifies this reasoning is that the activism made little or no difference all along.

But that's not true. Murkowski was undecided until 11th hour. Bill was supposed to pass in March. Only time it passed was w/o activists!
