        Should be much higher. Let's start with 90% for $5m, 75% for $1m, 60% for $500k, 50% for $100k and 40% for $50k.

People won't work and make 10%.. when you get older and start earning money you will figure that out for yourself

Yeah, I grew up in DC and live in LA, you get no sympathy from me. Don't have kids if you can't afford them.

Add 11% state/local & you're at 55%? Isn't it indenture servitude to spend majority of year working for others & not to pay wife's bills?

The rates were actually much higher for high earners in the 1950s and 1960s. Remember, That 44% is only applied to income AFTER 5mil

Which created a demand for tax shelters. A tax code riddled with carve-outs is inefficient and economically unwise.

If I was paying 44%, I'd be looking for a tax shelter and so would you. Nobody is taking away any body's health care.

Not sure how you interpret "massive defunding of medicaid" as NOT taking away HC. And the 90% top tax rate in 50s created the middle class.

Slowing the rate of growth isn't defunding. You act like every dime spent on Medicaid is well spent.http://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/medicaid-inspector-general-office-personal-care-aides-fraud-patient-neglect-abuse/ …

Trumpcare is nothing but a massive tax cut for the ultra-wealthy that will result in tens of thousands of people needlessy dying.
