      70 million people on medicaid is too many, shows how much of a failure the welfare state has been.

      Yes but larger problem is 70 mil and growing in poverty w/o oppourtunities need higher paying jobs.

      Many are seniors in nursing homes - not going to get a job to pay $80k/yr bills.

      Seniors who work their whole lives have medicare. Different than medicaid.

      Medicare doesn't pay for nursing homes, Medicaid does. Google it, get educated
