20) In Sanders construction of politics there’s not room for genuine policy disagreement - either you’re a progressive or you’re a sellout

21) I’ve long thought Sanders competition was good for Democrats. Increasingly I see it as a very destructive force w/in the party

22) And I’m sorry to say, but that “destructive effect” is a direct result of the manner in which Sanders is now attacking Clinton

23) To be clear, there’s nothing illegitimate about Sanders attacking Clinton. The problem is that delegitimizing here as a progressive

24) Sanders can argue that his plan for financial regulation is better, but he’s not. He’s arguing Clinton is too corrupted to do anything

25) In a sense, Sanders is delivering the most personal kind of attack - one that suggests his opponent is a fundamentally flawed politician

26) And by the way Sanders is framing the debate, he’s encouraging his supporters harsh, invalidating critiques of Clinton

26) Just as an FYI, in Sanders announcement speech he said “This campaign is not about Bernie Sanders. It is not about Hillary Clinton”
