I mean, it wouldn’t be hard to say: senator, Medicare is the law of the land and has been for 55 years. There’s no question it’s constitutional. That she didn’t say that is...wow.

I’m still stunned that Amy Coney Barrett wouldn’t just say that Medicare is constitutional. Instead, she said that she hadn’t read a particular law review article making that claim, so couldn’t weigh in on the reasoning. She may be even more radical than her supporters think
