2018 "Mother Jones" sucks. @markfollman was scolding women for being histrionic last summer, and the publisher was sexist-shamimg Access Maggie's critics on Twitter and basically calling us a "Mob." Hmmm, where have I hear THAT word?

-
"shaming" The word "Mob" is an elitist tell thrown around by establishment MSM and Republican power players when citizens push back with valid criticism.
-
I stopoed subscribing when they became a "foodie" magazine. They did underwrite a public conversation between Ari Berman and Reverend Barber, though, so they're not 100% awful.
-
Awful enough to invest limited money and reading time elsewhere. I started reading Mother Jones at 15, 44 years later, moved on to greener pastures.

I agree.

@DavidCornDC and@kdrum blasted@BernieSanders thoughout the primary and now@shane_bauer is crucifying progressive comdian and pundit@jimmy_dore. The real Mother Jones would be turning in her grave if she could see what these shills have done to her namesake. - 1 more reply

I ended my subscription after their constant Bernie bashing in 2016 led by

Mother Jones went to the dark side with the "We love Richard Spencer" article if not before.

With Perez in charge of DNC, Pelosi in the House and Schumer in the Senate, supporting turncoat Ds like Manchin, (Pelosi TODAY saying impeachment wouldn’t be the path forwards) this is sadly probably accurate.
-
I think we'll be lucky to take back the Senate, and there's no path to a big enough majority to impeach. Wishful thinking, but it's not going to happen.
-
You don't need to impeach or remove in the Senate. He can be indicted for perjury, tried by a DC jury and go to prison. He's removed.
-
I could be wrong but based on the research I read regarding the process for removing a SCJ and the USC itself, he could be convicted and in prison but he’d still need to be formally impeached to be removed. I am for what you suggested though
-
Think he might resign at the point of a prison sentence, but the mere threat might get a pasty-faced frat boy to resign. Don't underestimate the pathology of a bully.

Wouldn’t it be easier for a future Democrat president to pack the court with additional liberal justices? No 2/3 threshold needed, right?

It’s fairly unlikely that Dems win a majority of the senate. 2/3 is a pipe dream. A nice dream that I wish would happen, but it won’t anytime soon.
