Well it seems like Flake didn’t vote no in committee when his single vote would have made a difference and now gets to make a hugely big deal voting “No” on Kavanaugh without actually jeopardizing his appointment.

It depends on what he lied about, I’m sure if its his drinking happens they are not concerned about that.

No it doesn’t depend on what he lied about. A lie is a lie. Lying under oath is called perjury no matter how big the lie is or how small the lie is.

It’s not the case because it’s a proven fact that Brett Kavanaugh already lied under oath. So you’re right.

And he's supposed to be a JUDGE! Knowing the law is literally his fucking JOB! So he not only lied under oath (a crime), the lie he told shows that he is incompetent as a lawyer and a judge.

I wonder the same thing. The fact that he lied is OBVIOUS. Small lies indicate lying. There’s no dispensation for little lies versus big lies, is there? It appears that the Rs don’t think his lies matter.

Perjury is perjury. And whether the FBI investigation is limited or not, I’m confident a bunch of kick ass journalists are going to come up with more incriminating dirt by week’s end to add to what the FBI finds. #BeerWeek
