Well it seems like Flake didn’t vote no in committee when his single vote would have made a difference and now gets to make a hugely big deal voting “No” on Kavanaugh without actually jeopardizing his appointment.

That‘s the whole idea. Cake: eat and have.

It depends on what he lied about, I’m sure if its his drinking happens they are not concerned about that.
-
No it doesn’t depend on what he lied about. A lie is a lie. Lying under oath is called perjury no matter how big the lie is or how small the lie is.
-
I agree that should be the case but I suspect it won’t!
-
It’s not the case because it’s a proven fact that Brett Kavanaugh already lied under oath. So you’re right.

So the ENTIRE WORLD saw Kavanaugh lie. Over and over and over again. I'd like to say, well it's all over then. But we're talking about the Gang Of Pervs

Hello?? He lied about the drinking age... HE WAS DRINKING ILLEGALLY AND LIED ABOUT IT.
-
And he's supposed to be a JUDGE! Knowing the law is literally his fucking JOB! So he not only lied under oath (a crime), the lie he told shows that he is incompetent as a lawyer and a judge.
-
He also liked about not getting the emails about the torture memo in the Bush White House

I wonder the same thing. The fact that he lied is OBVIOUS. Small lies indicate lying. There’s no dispensation for little lies versus big lies, is there? It appears that the Rs don’t think his lies matter.
-
And yet this guys claim to fame started with questions for Bill Clinton that prompted perjury charges - same rules, apparently, don't apply now that tables are turned.

I think you are unclear on the meaning of shown. Shown means proof beyond a reasonable doubt that you can no longer ignore because the women outside your door are scarier than McConnell.
-
I have no doubt Kavanaugh lied. None.

Several times.

Perjury is perjury. And whether the FBI investigation is limited or not, I’m confident a bunch of kick ass journalists are going to come up with more incriminating dirt by week’s end to add to what the FBI finds.
