Feinstein's staff did not leak the letter to The Intercept

Nor did she or her staff leak the existence of the letter to The Intercept. After our story, she turned it over to the FBI, which placed it in his background file, which meant that it became widely available and soon after it was leaked to CNN

So putting a letter in an FBI file makes it somehow “widely available”? You are either throwing the FBI under the bus or lying.

The WH and the entire committee would then have access to it. That’s widely available.

They didn’t have the letter when they broke the story. So no, they did not leak the letter and the leak did not come from Feinstein.

Yes. And fwiw, friends, family, lawyers, polygraph dude, and a group of people at WaPo knew of it’s existence.
