If/when Democrats take over, they need to bring back the estate tax at 100% of everything other a $1 million or so. The stupid wealthy are destroying the country with these spoiled, entitled children whose behavior has to be painstakingly apologized for and explained away.

All income (cap gains, dividends, inheritance, wages) should be taxed according to the same progressive schedule of rates. And we need more brackets at the top end of the income scale.

I agree, except inheritance over $1 million should be taxed 100%. No one should become rich for winning the gene pool lottery.

Since corporations are legally people and have rights like freedom of speech and freedom of religion, they should be made to pay the same income tax rates as biological people.

Anyone who believes there's a snowball's chance in hell @TheDemocrats would do this is crazy, not paying attention, or part of the problem as a blind, sportsfan political partisan incapable of recognizing the fouls committed by their own team.

Family owned farms need special consideration is all. If a farm has been in the family for generations I don't want them to have to shut their doors to pay a tax because Grandpa died. We just need a little common sense but yes I agree estate tax is not a bad thing. % tbd

This is exactly my 1st thought when I read this. I'm grandfather clause N2 my family house as a residence. Through living will considering my financial interest is more than house is worth. Built in 1868 stage coach stop (renovations). Lots of family farms the whole family works.

Why wait till death? Why not a wealth tax while alive? Any wealth over $1 million has a 10% tax! Tired of hearing wealthy people that do not collect a check advocating for higher taxes on the workers.

Steve, you are correct but we can fix that with a tax deduction/credit for medical, catastrophic insurance coverage, single payer, etc. 10% tax on all wealth over $1 million

Two of the richest individuals in the world live in WA state. Do we have an income tax? Nope. The Seattle public school system is a disaster. What's Gates pet project? Charter schools (funded by tax payers).
