She’d have to be told what diner the election is being held in first. You almost have to admire their steadfast commitment to this corruption. At least it’s an ethos.

All local Democrat orgs are connected to the national. I personally know someone very high up on the county level who answers to the state level who answers to the national level.

I genuinely don’t know why he’s doing this. Why not retire?

They are all career politicians who have nothing if the party is taken over by progressives. What else are they going to do besides die fighting? I guess lobbying or something, but that seems contingent on access to power.

It’s just hard to imagine that someone like Joe Crowley cares about politics *that much*, but I guess he does based on his actions.

I am seeing a lot of outrage over this and no one noticing that the only one running against Crowley another sitting representative who was backed by a former politician who slashed his girlfriend's face and was convicted of mail fraud. 1/3

There may be a good argument for having a new leader of the Queens Democratic Party, but Crowley's opponent in this case was also more of the same and worse. I'm also not sure why anyone would want another sitting politician as head of a local political party. 2/3
