You’re asking me in a thread with reporters from The Intercept if I’M the one with an agenda? For real, tho?

The thing is, when you read The Intercept, you know you are getting a certain perspective, but you are trying to frame your equally biased opinions as The Objective Truth

When you read The Intercept, you know you're getting propaganda, but when you listen to a real live local person who covered and now works in local government, it's pretend objectivity? It couldn't possibly be actual experience though, right?

I mean working for the local government alone is a pretty big conflict of interest

Working for local government is a conflict of interest in a conversation about how one gets elected to a government post... but openly supporting a candidate in “reporting” is ok because it’s blatant?pic.twitter.com/5rgXvMzu0E

It would have been good context to know you run into your state senator at the whole foods because you are part of the political class, not because Delaware is a little mayberry where everybody knows each other

You think I’m governmenting while buying groceries and we see each other there in a professional capacity? Or like we all get together and decide to shop at the same places? I ran into the governor while he was buying groceries and I was doing a feature on the store’s butcher.

I saw Carper and Carney at the Y all the time because it was 3 blocks from my house and the nearest gym. The guy who lived three doors down from me was elected county executive, then offered me an appointment because he appreciated my work. There’s no “political class” here.

There’s no political class in Delaware?? Best real-world case of a fish asking his friend what water is I’ve ever seen.

Ryan would know, he’s spent 7 minutes here one time at a parade.

I grew up in Kent County MD, just across the DE border. Spent way more time in that superfund of a state than anybody should. But I still have hope for it.
