Amazing that this is what you gleaned from my thread. Not once have I even mentioned Iraq. Of course @ryangrim follows you.https://twitter.com/james_roe/status/1030902867429810176 …
Wait, so both sides of this debate oppose US involvement in Syria?

The time has passed for that. Obama had an opportunity to salvage the situation while it was still possible. Now we have Trump, and Syria is a global hub for fascism internationally.

There's a GALAXY of distance between opposing U.S. military intervention in Syria (which has been ongoing since 2014) and actively a spreading conspiracy theory about "Iraq-style regime change" and "World War III" when discussing the subject.

Obama should have allowed the rebels access to AA weaponry instead of limiting their accessibility so much, he shouldn't have viewed Putin as a "constructive partner", and he should have enforced his red line.
-
Now, let me be entirely clear. My position is NOT "do nothing, and ignore it." My position is "stand in solidarity with an existing revolution in Syria, and do not tolerate conspiracy theory or lies in the discourse.

Sounds like a minor difference, at best, but it isn't. It's a giant difference.

Also, get Russia the fuck off of the UNSC.
