This House special election was largely symbolic. The one in November that Cuomo is messing with to boost his own bid is real as hell.

Probably you don't quite get the concept of parties not owned by coorations and the idea of democracy. Pretty understandable given the history of the United States.
-
You can get back on your soap box after he is out of office. We need to band together or there wont BE a democracy to understand.
-
Democratic Party candidates are selling themselves to voters as a desperate alternative to Trump. Privately, they're selling themselves to donors as bulwarks against things ppl actually need. Recent stories out of Hawai'i and Michigan reveal the real strategy.

Is Cynthia Nixon a Green Party candidate? If not, I have no clue what this has to do with each other.
-
He is pointing out the clear hypocrisy.
-
If they support Cuomo, then yes. I can see that argument. But there are those that are supporting Nixon that don’t think ppl should vote Green. So, it’s a generalized statement in my opinion that isn’t well stated. But thank you for that out - I appreciate it.

This is a democracy. Candidates need to earn votes. End of story.

I’m sorry...that’s just sooo unintelligent and feeble. Please for goodness sakes, for the sake of all of us - take a step back and understand that actions have consequences and you have a responsibility as American to fight and save our country. You’re just being irresponsible.
-
Feeble? You prefer autocracy? Take a step back and reconsider your ridiculous assertion. No candidate is entitled to votes in a democracy. They must earn them. Politicians are not gods or monarchs.
-
I am sick of these privilege white people who claim that they care but then proxy vote for the other side. Please sit down. The rest is of us are trying to save our democracy.
-
The other side? Im a Dem. What Im stating is just a fact of the matter and Im tired of losing elections. Ill stand, thank you.

Maybe if the DNC candidates stopped stealing GOP talking points and stopped using them to yell at the left they would get more votes
