Quote the purported "attack," please. All I saw was Lamb defending himself against Republican attacks by saying he wouldn't support Pelosi for Speaker. I didn't see a word of actual attack, or even criticism.

Would that some others would get such a generous reading!

Meanwhile Aftab and other men (and it’s all men) are campaigning on Not Pelosi to whooo sexist male voters that won’t actually end up voting on Pelosi as an issue. But AOC is divisive.

Don't know that candidate. What's the rudest thing he's said about Pelosi? (Note: I'm a huge Pelosi fan. I'd like her to be Speaker. The only way to make her Speaker is to win marginal seats.)

I have real things to do. You can whine about AOC. I’ll focus on winning policy and races.

In other words, you, like Ryan Grim, made a charge you're not willing to substantiate.

I said he went after Pelosi. He said he didn’t want her to be leader anymore. If you want to say that going after her position of influence and power isn’t going after her, ok

Ryan, you can't really pretend that saying "I won't support X for job Y" constitutes a personal attack, anything like "X is unqualified" or "X is the candidate of the 1%" or "X is takes PAC money" or "X is a corporate lawyer."

So if someone on your faculty who had a say in the matter said that you should lose your job, the position you worked your life for, you wouldn’t say that the person was coming after you?

If a colleague at UCLA had said I wouldn't be a good choice for department chair, or a Marron colleague said I wouldn't work as director, first I'd say "Correct!" and then I'd say "Thank you." If that person said was a corrupt, unqualified neoliberal, then I'd be annoyed.

No I mean your full job, everything. If she is ousted from leader she’s finished. I don’t think she will be, fwiw.

Of course she won't. Does she look worried? Republicans wanted to make her the issue in swing districts. Democrats like Lamb parried: without, I repeat, uttering a word of personal criticism or saying anything a Republican would benefit from quoting.
