Whenever governments goes after the press, they find examples that will set a precedent but have a unique set of facts that dissuade the rest of the media from defending against the assault. Assange is perfect for that, we're all sitting back and watching them boil us.

What if we just want to see Assange lose his diplomatic protection so that he'll have to face the rape allegations against him in Sweden, like any other person without his connections would have had to years ago?

Wrong. Sweden dropped its "preliminary investigation" in May last year because exculpatory evidence emerged from the women's phones ("Police made up the charges to get him", "felt railroaded by police"). He was never charged. See http://justice4assange.com

idk I think people accused by two women of rape should probably face a court of law but then I tend to believe women over believing in conspiracies

You into slandering ppl much? That's #libel in printed form. *The women retracted their statements. Sweden dropped all inquiry. The warrants have no legal standing - but defending corruption in politics pays your meal tickets, huh? #psychopathy in individual Judges, is real

And @Wikileaks was identified as an intelligence agency by Pompeo. No retraction was ever made. There's no law against starting your own, if you are that jealous of all the attention... 😂

Sorry, lost here... which paper or news Organisation does Assange work for? If I put stolen goods in my window I can expect a call from the cops. This is no different. Freedom of speech doesn’t apply.

DI'd you know that anyone can start a news organization? Its called a BUSINESS startup...you don't need gov permission to start a news organization, or any other business. Just file the forms like @Wikileaks did...
