          SO when Feinstein's seniority places her in the most important committee positions, sending in a newbie to take her place who will likely not have her advantages is good strategy? this reasoning is probably why Dems lose, there is no thought about the bigger picture.

          It's just based on winning and losing? I seem to recall a lot of discussions about it being dishonest and cheating and so on. Did I get those wrong? I still hear lots of discussions about how the DNC stole the election from Bernie. That's more than strategy, right?
