This shows how much @Ocasio2018 is changing the game. @emilyslist is putting hundreds of thousands in this race for @sharicedavids against @BrentWelder. A month ago, Bernie would be getting called a misogynist for this this rally. Now it’s part of a movement.https://twitter.com/brentwelder/status/1017879631616241664 …

The seat is very flippable. Whoever wins the primary has a good chance of winning the seat. Emily's List is donating to the minority LGBT woman with the best chance, that's all. That's literally what they do. They donate to women candidates. Super long shot.

So is it flippable or a long shot? Is there anti Bernie nonsense going on. When they donate that much in races where Bernie appears I have to ask.

Sharice Davids winning the primary is an extreme long shot. Emily's List chose the better candidate to donate to in a very flippable seat. The Democrat who wins the primary has a good shot at winning. Attributing "guilt by association" because Emily's List donations is *insane.*

Why is she an extreme longshot? To be clear, I have no problem with the EL super PAC spending whatever it wants. Go for it. (I think all super PACs should be banned, as they used to be, but that’s different.) Will be interesting to see if organizing can beat big money.

Odd framing, indeed. EL is on that list for you but Our Revolution, Justice Dems and let’s throw in the National Nurses as well, all supporting the dude you are promoting don’t rate a mention? Seems like the only litmus test that matters is supporting Bernie and SP, no?

Those other groups support many candidates but having a rally with Bernie is more rare. Emily's acts as if it has a chip on its shoulder regarding Bernie

What an odd comment. I could make a stronger argument that OR has a chip on their shoulder about anyone who did not support Bernie. And no need to go into the EL win rate versus the Bernie endorsed one, although that oddly did not include Bernie endorsing AOC, which he didn’t.

OR was formed from his campaign... They have endosed not Bernie people but it's not like they are expected to do so. They go against incumbent often and have a large number of winshttps://ourrevolution.com/results/

You know that is not a good win rate, right? Especially when you dive in, as I did, and see how many uncontested people they endorsed. And, how little money they give. Bernie’s w/l endorsement ratio is even worse. Good talk, though.

Yep, they take money yet spend little on races. Typical dark money org. I worked for Ted Kennedy for years & hustled my ass for Obama first running for the senate then for the presidency. You can stick your silly assumptions right back where your terrible grammar comes from. 😂

She's a "Native American queer woman" by her own words. That makes her a deep minority within a minority. Yoder has raised 20x as much money as her. I'm for only public money too, but we have to fight fire with fire. Whoever wins the primary *will* take big money.

I think there is merit to having 50/50 male/female representation in congress (as well as minority representation with LGBT, AA, Hispanic, etc). I know that makes me a terrible "identity politics" leftist. Davids background brings a unique and needed perspective.

In theory that sounds ideal but I don't trust women anymore after what I saw on 2016. Before them my opinion was there should be a mandate for 50/50

I'm sorry but the hate they displayed and their rush to judge. They also tend to reverse sentencing reform. It doesn't apply universally obviously.
