I tried reaching out to my local Dem club. They said they would inform me of their meetings but til this day haven’t heard back.
-
So you never followed up? You just washed your hands of the whole thing??

this is what I'm trying to get to the bottom of. The language (from both of them) suggests a purposeful shutting out, rather than what quite possibly might have been a clerical error. How does a phone call or email left unanswered translate to "lack of transparency"?

I also tried joining county committee - no info available on the county org’s site. Had to keep asking around until a local activist who had knowledge of the process filled me in - by now I was months into the ocasio campaign

The a Democratic organization in my St. Louis ward meets in the STLPOA's building. I think it makes it pretty clear what type of Democrats they want to work with (Google Jeff Roorda).
