In all seriousness, it does pave way for a shakeup, and maybe Tim Ryan will get enough support.
-
Either you want a progressive or you want Tim Ryan. You can't have both.
-
Didn’t say I wanted both. Ryan mounted a challenge preciously but may stand a chance now. Younger, more of an economic populist, would be a better leader for Dems in House than Pelosi.
-
Crowley wanted Pelosi’s job. If anything it solidifies her.
-
Crowley wanted to be the next Pelosi. Tim Ryan wanted to unseat her and her leadership to focus on a progressive economic message. Got a decent chunk of House Dems to back him but the establishment it too influential. Like I originally said, “serious” contender.
-
Tim Ryan is pretty conservative, especially compared to Nancy Pelosi.
-
He’s advocated for more leniency on social issues for Dems running in conservative areas, but economically and domestically he’s a better choice than Pelosi, and not a toxic brand used to run. Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer someone like Barbara Lee, but won’t happen.
-
Not sure what you are basing it on, but it sure isn’t votes. He doesn’t even break the top 100 on Progressive Punch.pic.twitter.com/zYZE7r9Hsl

It’s only fair. In fact, let’s just skip a few steps and make her president.
-
she'll be legally old enough for a run in 2028...so get the signs ready
-
Isn’t it 2025? You might be right. My math skills aren’t great.
-
She'll be old enough in 2025...but the election won't be till 2028...so we are both...well, REALLY HAPPY SHE WON!!!
-
No, I’m honest enough to admit when I’m wrong. I hadn’t considered the date of the election. Too excited to think clearly. My fault. You’re right and I'm wrong. And YES, I AM ABSOLUTELY GOBSMACKED AND THRILLED. Since when do good things happen in politics?
