Nothing says "old-fashioned" like a highly credible rape threat! I'd be pretty pissed if I were Al Franken and had Bill Clinton in my corner on this issue.

this attack on Gillibrand also conveniently allows Ol' Bill to punish a 2020 hopeful who's campaigning on a very progressive platform
-
Yeah, exactly, he's not doing this to help Al Franken, he's doing it to hurt Kirsten Gillibrand
-
He was _asked_ about Al Franken, directly, in an interview. Do you think he planted the question? Didn't look like he was happy about having been asked, to me. (Did you even watch it, or just grabbing bits and pieces to serve the point you'd like to make in the first place?)

They keep trying to influence politics and therefore they are opening themselves up for criticism. How about YOU move on and admit that they were a mistake from the get go?

Gillibrand is an opportunist.
-
Not that you’re wrong, but it’s a weird criticism to lob when you’re contrasting her with... the Clintons.

I see we’re still blaming Hillary for the actions of her husband.
-
She is being blamed for having a rapist on her staff. Not for his having raped someone.
-
She was going to give him an official position at the White House but I guess criticizing her for that is sexism and defending a rape apologist is feminist, actually
-
On her staff? She never became the boss. Are you from Earth 2.0?
-
Her campaign had a staff and he was on it as a spokesperson
-
I'm not from Earth 2 but I've been there and just so you know there are still hella deportations happening but y'all are at brunch

If Democrats don't want to be hounded by the Clintons they can just cancel them and move on. This keeps happening because Democrats are still pretending that the Clintons are ok

These attacks on Clinton and Franken both do damage to women and metoo. It is becoming women against men and losing support for the movement.
-
lol, wtf are you talking about? Democrats need to be consistent: if they have a problem w/Donald Trump's abuse of women, they should have a problem w/Bill Clinton and Al Franken as well. It's really that simple.

Please stop making excuses for the man. "A little light sexual assault" isn't a thing, nor should it be. The more ppl minimize this kinda shit, the more they are saying "hey, I don't care if that happens" and giving other ppl justifications to get away w/it, too.
