I seldom click on articles based on obviously stupid premises. Especially one that’s barely an exaggeration of a claim people are making. If I want people to read what I write, I play it straight, or try to clearly signal any irony, bc I know most people read tweets in good faith

Your absolutely right. Most ppl should read the articles and go off that but most of the time just see the headlines and go off of that. Can't tell you how many times i've freaked out over a newspaper headline only to real the actual article and be pleasantly surprised by it.
