If @repjoecrowley says he didn't say it - point blank, no qualifications - I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I would for you, too. @theintercept and @ryangrim should clarify. They're reported as "he said" direct quotes. I personally that's ethically problematic.

They are trying so hard to get him to say something and they figure because he’s not the most polished guy....but he’s a seasoned leader and a good guy.

Nobody forced him to say that and the point of primaries and democracy is to improve. In one of America's bluest districts you have a chance for a young progressive woman of color. There is no good reason why is safe places you don't go further left

Nobody quoted him saying anything! He wasn’t quoted so don’t come at me with any untruths. Just because someone new is running against an incumbent doesn’t mean they would be better suited for the job. We don’t throw them all out ...
