Thanks to @briebriejoy and @ryangrim for their hard work on this story. Could not have done it without them.https://theintercept.com/2018/06/06/ken-salazar-colorado-governor-race-fracking/ …

That's interesting. I've worked in Colorado politics since 2006 and that's news to me. Did you ask Ken Salazar?
-
He didn't respond to any requests for comment. Joe would have zero reason to fabricate that, though, given that they're not at all political family
-
Like I said, I've been working here for 12 years, including the 2013 gun safety bills with Joe, and first time I've heard that. Interesting.
-
You should ask Ken next time you see him. We may have to take this to 23 and Me
-
Huh? I work in grassroots Colorado politics & have for a long time. Like I said, first I've heard of that. If you want to make some confirmation calls, be my guest.
-
Enough with the belligerence lady. You’re not God and you don’t know everything. You asked, he reasonably answered. Give it a fucking rest.
-
Actually, I do know Colorado politics because I've worked here for more than a decade. And yes, I do expect journalists to fact-check before writing about what's happening here. If that upsets you, your problem, not mine.
