People who do political work should get paid--especially on the ad side. The worst narrative to come out of 2016 primaries was the idea that work shouldn't be paid. That's a cancer on building a just movement. Disappointed to see a creative team not get paid for work.

The issue isn't the off voling-- it's the crew of folks who want to normalize the idea of not paying people. Phones and doors and texting is fine. And one off things once in a while is fine. But generally pay folks for work like ad making.

For exp, creatives can volunteer to make extra things-- things that you could never budget for. But shouldn't be used to make something you should pay for. And they should never be asked to work for free.
