If we, the victims, know how the system treats those who report, so too do our rapists. Decades of continual evidence have shown that our reports will be met with derision, our careers threatened, and we will endure alone. So what do they have to fear?

Getting my COVID vaccine shot on Monday! Excited but also...irrationally nervous? Too many conservatives in my family telling me over and over again on how it’s going to kill me! 😩

This is an important read. No one should ever have to work for an entire year for their doctor to take them seriously

I do think that maybe it could be a separate project, a second book, if I ever manage to make this first one work. But the idea is kind of exciting! And I eventually fell asleep lol

I started thinking about the POV of a main character in my novel who isn’t shown, sort of wondering what her version of the story would be like, & now it’s all I can think about and NO! I will not start over an 80k book! No! but I also can’t sleep now and it would be so good—

How can this even be legal? And honestly, I wouldn’t pay! They’re going to ruin my credit? Have at it. I’d rather have bad credit than pay a one month $17,000 electric bill

Any time someone says “well then maybe women just shouldn’t serve!” I say, “A study by the Department of Veterans Affairs revealed close to 50,000 male veterans screened positive as being victims of some form of military sexual trauma.” (across all MOSs, not just combat arms)

I wonder if there’s a study done somewhere on how many bisexual women end up marrying men and why. I feel like every fellow bisexual woman I know is married to a man.

Marriage is passive aggressively shouting “did you mean to leave the burner on?” ten minutes after dinner is over even when you know they did not, in fact, mean to leave the burner on.
