Proposal: any debate between two dissenting parties in the health space should be framed by a comparison of VAT (visceral adipose tissue). If they aren’t both exemplary why do we even care what they have to say?

No, no, no. I am sick of the narrative that meat-eaters eat meat only due to a hedonistic "taste compulsion." I enjoy steak, but the taste of meat is far and away the LEAST compelling reason to eat it. I eat meat because it is healthful, moral and environmentally responsible.

BAM! Inspiring story of how the new ADA CEO Tracey Brown recognized the impact of carbohydrates and avoids them. In the interview she reports she has gotten off insulin and is nearly off of all medications and encourages others that they can do it too.

"How To Achieve Normal Blood Sugar in Teen Athletes with Type 1 Diabetes." My type 1 athlete son, Dave, writes an article on how he normalizes his blood sugar using fat adaptation and Bernstein insulin dosing principles. No carb loading required.

Making sure my beloved type 1 son isn't sent down the tubes with the obviously stupid diabetes association guidelines to eat a lot of carb and run high.

So one must believe hominids ate toxic saturated fats over 3 million years of evolution, until the great day roughly 100 years ago when we learned to extract healthful unsaturated fats out of seeds. This absurd idea persists only because seed oils are obscenely profitable.

So much misinformation in the doc "Game Changers", like the "cloudy" blood. I spun my own blood this morning & had eaten eggs, bacon, & a protein shake. Check out the results!

Unprecedented A1cs for T1ds of all ages eating healthy LC meals and using insulin safely and judiciously. Can you imagine the bedlam/calamity if these results were attained with expensive medications/devices and a high carbohydrate-glucose food diet pushed by the mainstream?

Controlling carbohydrates (i.e., /) improves glucose control in . It's such a rational strategy: if you have a hard time keeping blood glucose in control, eat less of it.

Unfortunately, it seems that got caught in the crossfire when Google went after the sketchy alternative-health sites. We wrote about it here: We’d love to hear from about what we can do better.

Normal BGLs following extremely intense exercise via a VLC approach. The idea pushed by the self proclaimed experts to eat a lot of juice and then later more carbo is nonsense. This is a typical night for a t1d teen after two a day varsity football practice and weight lifting.

Odgovor korisnicima i sljedećem broju korisnika:

This piece doesnt pass the sniff test WRT conflicts of interest of the authors. Not sure why you are vehemently anti low carb still, when the ADA presented much evidence of efficacy and safety when they changed the guidelines for treating T1 and T2 diabetes.
