    I can't believe that it's 2020 and still only presents a "Connect to Facebook" button when I click "Find Friends" Talk about phoning it in. I'm not the only one out here without Facebook, and sure as heck not signing up just for that...

    There were ways to adjust the debate rules when black and Latino candidates were being excluded, but that didn't happen. The rules were only adjusted when the billionaire needed to participate. That seems wrong.

    When we try to pay too little for things, it usually means exploiting labor, promoting slavery, creating more pollution, or otherwise externalizing the damage. Low prices often carry high costs. We in the West can't afford the true costs of what we think we deserve. Less is more.

    Fiction: "A Conjuring of Light" by V.E. Schwab This is the third and final chapter in the Shades of Magic trilogy - you should start with "A Darker Shade of Magic." I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two, but it was a satisfying end to the story arc.
