Would certainly be suspicious. Why would they need your password? I don't see how that bit of information would be needed when it's already in the system one way or another.
And you wouldn't need to verify it when they know exactly where to go to reach you.
Yeah, if I'm having second thoughts about it I'm definitely just going to ignore it.
Might be some information on YouTube about how they will contact you for such matters if it becomes an issue also. Like most companies, they will give users information about what they will and will not do to make contact for your safety.
