It’s so nice that someone actually sees that addiction happens to all kinds of people I used to have addictions to drink and drugs myself and lost a family member to drugs we do need to come together and support people and safe places for them

Alcohol is the worlds favourite drug. And not enough people care enough to make a change. The government should increase tax and use the funds to provide facilities for all addictions. We expect the addicts to find their own cure and sometimes they can’t. It’s very sad

My very thoughts as well. We certainly need Russells help here in Vancouver as well. He's a good man.

He speaks more sense in one video than
@theresa_may has in her whole time in office#justsaying

Yes a million times over. Addiction is a mental condition. Those suffering don't just deserve, but NEED, empathy and support to overcome it. Blaming sufferers does nothing to stop the problem, promote recovery or address the root causes. Thank you Russell

Correct. This a global problem. In so many countries help is not available or wait lists are so long, they abandon them. There is no REAL concern here by public officials. Just more talk.

I believe that was their plan since mental facilities had to stop incarcerating many for small reasons, and now people are addicted to prescription medication. More pills and medicines were created when this all started. Addicts keep doctors in business is why.
