Gratitude is the law of increase just as complaint is the law of decrease.... pride is actually
a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements, see when you put 100% effort into changing your life be proud people you are actually amazing

Feels like this is about breaking down individuality to me. Pride and gratitude arent equivilant emotions either, i think he might have had 1 too many drugs.

I see pride as the son of the ego, who is the son of fear. Sinister family tree, eh?

Makes sense. My gratitude journal has made me realise how much we default to the negative. There’s so much around us to be grateful for, even if we may have one or two big things that are pretty shite.

Pride has ego invested - and there's more than enough of that malarkey. Gratitude is simply gratitude, honest and life-affirming. Thanks for the reminder - appreciated, mister!

Couldn’t agree more, said that to a friend some time ago how wrong it felt to hear the phrase to be proud of someone for something or other when really i would feel just blessed and grateful. Hamd and Baraka, two Arabic words.

Do you think he might be the prophet, returned to save us all?
-
Why not? His words are kind, loving and positive. He is what we need in the world now.

Nice beard, but this feels like a forced terrorist video lol and jujitsu?! What that’s awesome. Seems like more and more stars are learning martial arts.

Yeh its a strange move for a guy who was mainly a comedian but I find these videos really insightful.

I don't know that there is anything wrong with pride. When you've done something you feel pride for having accomplished is there something wrong with taking a look, and taking pride in where you have gotten? What your effort has achieved?
-
Use pride wisely - remember the good things you have done and remember to take pride in them, just don't wear pride like a badge - pride in what you have achieved is good; quiet pride.
-
Yeah the tweet I tried to follow it up with had alot to do with "conceit" and "comfort" <--these in association with pride can lead to some painful lessons. I am grateful for my instructor's contribution to my growth, proud of my progress, and certain I'll get my ass kicked ;-)
-
Yes. The pupil and teacher both learn from each other, and ass kicking teaches you a lesson - sometimes.
