.@rustlang seems super interesting. Tbh I haven’t spent more than ~20 min researching, but every time I see non-trivial code samples I see truly baffling stuff. For example, why does every other assignment need to be `.unwrap`ed?

Do I have to spend a day learning how awesome Rust is to feel good about unwrapping and pointing and muting and owning? Is there not a less verbose way to get the same powerful features? (I know people way smarter than me have thought about this sorry)

It’s not the only thing! You can use ? to propagate the error instead, for example.
