It's 2018 and #![no_std] still doesn't have io::{Read,Write} traits.

Most traits missing from `core` can be copied from `std` with minimal modification. But, of course, this defeats the point because you need these traits for interoperability. Without them, people don't want to build substantial libraries for #![no_std]
