@rustlang one of the features mentioned in various places is "zero-cost abstraction". What kind of cost are we talking about w.r.t other languages? Can someone give example to make it clear to me?

So for example: struct Foo(i32); At runtime, this is the same as an i32; no extra overhead for a struct. Things like that. Make sense?

Yes that makes sense. In my mind, I was relating it to inlining the code which seems to be on right track I guess.
