Since @RustTurtle is a crate for learning @rustlang, I want to be able to keep it mostly up to date with the latest stable Rust. What's a good policy for amount of time to wait before upgrading? What do you think about this topic in general for crates like turtle? (See thread)

Rust releases are every 6 weeks if I'm not mistaken. So maybe basing an upgrade policy around that release cycle as opposed to a strict monthly definition. So 6 weeks = lag by 1 release. Or 24 weeks (approx. 6 months) = lag by 4 releases.

Nursery crates generally support “at least the past two stable releases” as a similar data point
