Is anyone doing #exploit or #vulnerability research in #rustlang? Not exploitation of, although tangentially interesting as well, but creating exploits in @rustlang.

We’re building analysis tools to detect exploitation in Rust and I’m working on an idea for a fuzzer

Fuzzers seem a likely candidate for a large variety of reasons within rust although web might be tricky atm. By detect exploitation, assuming runtime detection, is this internal application or proxying backend apps type stuff?

I've considered writing @radareorg plugins, at the time (0.9-1.0 days) conversion from c to rust through anything automated was still painful and r2pipe didn't seem available. May have to revisit... Otherwise looking at for ctf creation but wondering about viability.

We’re making heavy use of bindgen and cbindgen at @Prevoty for building language bindings and exposing our shared libraries, written in Rust, to the ffi interfaces. Aside from small bugs here and there it’s been pretty good
