The more I read this, the less sense it makes to me. Why in the world can opening a file return AddrInUse?

I believe this is because io::Result is for all kinds of io errors; not every kind can happen for every call

That's what I guessed, but in terms of semantics it's pretty weird that there isn't a std::net::Error.
