There's so much value in curation and features out of the box (ng2), but also in having a rich ecosystem (react). I think ng2 will have both

Actually the React ecosystem approach reminds me of expressjs (ng2 like Rails/Django?). Lots of 3rd party libs, lots of github/npm hunting

Not necessarily bad as ecosystem matures, just found myself analyzing stars/commits/maintainer for react libs and finding lots of dead stuff

@Justinwillis96 @maxlynch yeah, there's a lot of stuff from pre-1.0. Something like 97% of post-1.0 versions compile at least
