Anyone know if there is a RFC for @rustlang to allow foo/foo.rs instead of foo/mod.rs?

You can have http://foo.rs and then a directory foo with the sub modules, but not for putting the parent and children at the same level

Yeah, that's what I'm doing now, but this convention feels a bit like magic at times (if you don't know about it). Thanks for the tip!

Btw, is there a specific reason why this is not supported (excuse my ignorance here). Would a RFC proposal be welcome if I would write one up?

I don’t think it was ever suggested. Anyone can write an RFC, but (speaking on a personal note) I think after the last set of module changes, it might be hard to get support for more due to fatigue. Just a guess though!
