#rustlang might be suitable for Indie #gamedevelopment but what about #AAA studios?
#cplusplus can be adapted to fit the unique workflow & environment of literally hundreds of game studios. Rust would require changing your entire workflow.

Does
@EmbarkStudios use Rust for non-PC game engines? Rust is excellent for PC gamedev, but none of the open-source engines I've seen so far would be a very good fit for Nintendo/PlayStation/XBox/Android TV/iOS. -
I’m not sure, but when
@Kyrenite was at@ChucklefishLTD ; they got rust running on all of the current gen consoles in a week. So, possible? Yes. Still very early days of course.
