Really? I didn't know that (I am new to Rust). Is that documented somewhere? My understanding when you release a binary all dependencies would be attached to it. That's impressive. Thanks.

Its called “dead code elimination” and has been a pretty standard compiler thing for a very long time, not even just in rust :)
