          If one learns the common concept shared between languages; then I think it is not an issue; I think that's why we have a saying is ”programmer could learn all languages well, or even not good at one”. Of course, only know one is not a problem, but good to know more if could.

          I had to make that same decision a while ago. Did a lot of digging. I ended up choosing rust. No garbage collection won for me. And the excellent cross platform.
