@rustlang I'm deeply saddened that you retweet outright scam. Not judging you for the mistake, it's hard to see it in this huge noise. Just please don't repeat it in the future. (I think retweet can be canceled as well.)
The scam in question is based on IOT buzzword.

Understandable. I'd like to better understand if you have any boundaries. For instance, would you also retweet a terrorist group offering Rust job? (seriously)

Since that hasn’t come up yet, we’ve never had to make the decision. Being neutral has felt correct so far. Maybe email core-team@rust-lang.org and we can talk about this? Twitter is probably not the best place, and I’m only one person.

2/ People go even to such lengths that they make very hamfisted attempts on using other projects, and the blog these as "proof". It's like I would try to use Rust from scratch, by picking on every obsolete part of some tutorial and complain that Rust is crap.

This is an extremely unforgiving space in this sense. Do too many things wrong in your initial PR/Tech and hardly anyone familiar with those mistakes will be willing to take another look anymore. Way too many projects competing for attention here.

1/ Welcome to crypto bubble, where almost everyone is badmouthing every other project, and any kind of professionalism is almost unheard of. Rule of thumb is to ignore every comment and blog that does only bashing.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
