@rustwasm If I want to build a lib using wasm-pack-template and create-wasm-app as a starting point, do I need to dual license the library, or can I chose one of the two? (I find dual licensing a bit complicated, esspecially when one of the licenses is already the permisive MIT).

IANAL, but pretty sure you can choose either or both. MIT/Apache-2.0 is standard within the Rust ecosystem, FWIW.

Any idea why? I found a bit of documentation in nursaries (https://rust-lang-nursery.github.io/api-guidelines/necessities.html …) that fact that they _do_ use dual licensing, there's a mention of neuances, but the link is dead (https://www.rust-lang.org/en-US/faq.html#why-a-dual-mit-asl2-license …) cc

mit is used for GPL compatibility, apache2 for its patent clause. They’re a very common combo, and by far the default in rust spaces, since that’s how rust itself is licensed.
