Is there a discussion on something like "strong type aliases" in @rustlang?
What I mean, simplified, is something like this:
strong type Width = u32;
strong type Height = u32;
Where it would differ from type aliases i that you cannot pass a Height as an argument declared as Width

Thanks! That is really helpful to me right now. I think for my case the new type-pattern is preferrable in the long run. It would just be convenient to get something in between typaliases and new types while figuring out what the latter should look like. I'm wrapping x11-lib.
