Hello everyone! Today we have an announcement: a beta of our new website!https://blog.rust-lang.org/2018/11/29/a-new-look-for-rust-lang-org.html …

I hope I don't offend anyone but: The colors are horrible. The general alignment _feels_ off and inconsistent. The headline highlighting is a accessibility nightmare and the ratio between text and background high is totally off. Well the Icons are nice.

Thanks it’s really hard to please everyone

The old one has a code example which you can run directly, a clear link to install (not "get started"), a clear link to the documentation (not "learn"), and is a lot shorter. I think the new site is boss-oriented, while the old one was more dev-oriented.

The code example bit is really tricky, we liked it too but couldn’t come up with good examples. Please file issues, or comment on existing ones! Twitter feedback gets lost

Possible typo: under networking, should "Predicatable performance" be "Predictable"?

Sounds like it! Can you file an issue please?

On mobile font sizes are startlingly inconsistent throughout. A particularly striking example is the following.pic.twitter.com/LP29cBuTLh

Thanks! Can you file a bug please?

The fonts used for the headings look too fat and squished (bad kerning?), and I find the big blocks of alternating colors *really* irritating. Showing off who uses it is cool though, and the icons are great!

Also, on the embedded page all the "Learn More" button are at different heights, and on the "Networking" page the Buoyant logo is too far up, it looks like it belongs to the quote above it
