While I can understand why there's some concerns over the message. I liked the old website much better, it's simple, clear and easy to read. I have a hunch that unlike software development, design doesn't work well when it's more than one person working on it.
-
I hope it's not taken personally, but the new one seems very cluttered. Unfortunately good design isn't something that can be done by with bringing more people, and to make things harder, good design is hard to appreciate as well.

I love the new site. I admit I really miss the code snippet (I think all lang sites should have one) even though I never liked *that specific* snippet you used to show.
-
Yeah that’s the crux of it: nobody had a snippet they liked

Great work!
I just didn't like the "Upcoming events" style, looks like it's from 2003.. :D
By the way, is there plan to support other languages (other than English) ? -
Thanks! The calendar is a thing we’re aware of, for sure. The post goes into translations a bit; yes!

Love this one comment that I think has limited rusts reach in the past and may now send away even more potential rustaceans "The programming language that empowers everyone to become a systems programmer." - systems programmer.
-
Many potential users may see this then turn away thinking systems programming doesn't apply to their usecase because systems programming means different things to different people's. To me rust is about confidence and reliability.
