My tweet about @rustlang sure reverberated - I had no idea so many cared.
You can tell lots of devs are intrigued, looking for confirmation (or denial), or just want data. Skepticism abounds too, of course. Maybe an analysis talk at next year's GDC would be of interest.

One of the problems with C++ is the compile time, Rust does not solve this problem, does it?

It’s complicated, it can be better or worse, depending. It’s something we’re constantly working on, because it can and should get better!

Keep up the good work. To be honest, the main problem with C++ compile time is all the manual work programmers have to do in order to reduce compile time.

Virtually all Rust users don’t manage their own builds; we have Cargo instead of Makefiles. So that does help; in the past six months we shipped an initial incremental compilation feature and so everyone just got it for zero work on upgrading
